Hey y’all! I love a good pun and todays card is features a pig and pun. This is also the second card I’m sharing using the #createdbykarensketch001. I really like the versatility of this sketch and today I flipped the location of the circle.
This color combo screams me and was perfect for this card featuring a little pig. I LOVE pink… all things pink. And mix that with black and white and it’s perfection. In yesterday’s card I had multiple layers, in this card there is just 1.
Card Details:
Card Base: A2 Top folding card, is used Tim Holtz Distress Spry in Spun Sugar to ink my card base.
Layer: 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ I edged the paper in black Precision Pen by American Crafts. I also used a light spray of the Spun Sugar to break up the black and white a bit in the lower left corner.
Other: The rose paper in the strip is Simple Stories. And the ribbon is cut in half and frayed before making a bow. The pig is colored with Copic Markers and the finishing touch is the sequins.
Here is a close up of the frayed ribbon bow and focus area. I hope that you are getting inspired to use this sketch! I can’t wait to see what you create. Don’t forget to tag me with the #createdbykarensketch001
